Archaeological tour and Silver Lake (P25)
Our journey begins to one of the most important Belgrade archaeological site, just 14 km from city centre. Vinča is the most significant Stone Age archaeological site dating 4000 B.C. and represent the first agricultural community in Balkans. Archaeological museumn on site have interesting exhibition from Neolithic period. Visiting Archaeological park Viminacium, located an hour from Belgrade, which was the capital city of the Roman province Moesia Superior and a permanent camp of the Seventh Claudia Legion. After visiting the remains of the Roman settlement, a new built vila Rustica built as a reconstruction of the Roman architecture with the scientific centre and busts of Roman emperors born on teritory of Serbia and paleontological park in Viminacium, driving to Silver lake. Silver Lake – an artificial lake on Danube is well known as Serbian summer destination with beaches and many bars and restaurants, but also as fisherman's and water sport paradise.
